Statuses and messages¶

The same on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV.

Statuses¶

Every title, season and episode has a status.

Status	Symbol	Meaning
present	filled circle	Ready to watch.
in progress	half-filled circle	Scaricarr is getting it.
not released yet	clock	Not out yet. Scaricarr gets it once it is released.
missing	empty circle	Requested, but not found yet. Scaricarr keeps looking.

A season row also says how many episodes are there, for example "4 of 10 episodes", and whether the season is requested or not requested.

Short notes appear at the bottom of the screen and go away by themselves:

"… added." / "Already in the library."	Adding a title
"Season … requested." / "Season … removed."	Requesting or removing a season
"New seasons will be requested automatically."	Turning on Get new seasons automatically
"Searching for a different copy."	Get a different copy
"Removed."	Removing a title

When an action fails, the note stays until you close it, and may offer Retry.

Message	What to do
"Please enter the server address."	Type the address you use for Scaricarr in the browser.
"That is not a server address."	Check for typos.
"The server has to be reachable over https."	Use the `https://` address, or leave the beginning out.
"No Scaricarr server answered at this address."	Check the address and your internet connection.
"This server does not allow signing in from the app yet." (or "…from the Apple TV yet.")	Ask the person who runs Scaricarr to turn it on.
"This server is too old for the app." (or "…for the Apple TV.")	Ask the person who runs Scaricarr to update it.

Message	What to do
"Session expired, please sign in again."	Sign in again.
"Sign-in was cancelled or failed. Please try again."	Tap Sign in again.
"Sign-in could not be completed. Please try again later."	Wait a moment and try again.
"The code has expired. Please get a new one." (Apple TV)	Select Get a new code.
"Sign-in was declined on the other device." (Apple TV)	Select Get a new code and choose Allow this time.

Message	Meaning
"Offline. As of 19:42. Changes are not possible."	Your device has no internet. You see the library as it was at that time.
"Not reachable. As of 19:42. Changes are not possible."	Your device is online, but your Scaricarr can't be reached.
Library not reachable with Try again	The library could not be loaded at all.
Offline on the Search tab	Search needs a connection.

Screen	Meaning
You have not added anything yet	Only mine is on and you have no titles. Tap Show everything.
Nothing in the library yet	The household library is empty. Use Search.
What are you looking for?	Type a title; movies and series are found together.
A little more	Type at least three letters.
No longer in the library	Somebody removed the title in the meantime.
Could not load with Try again	Something went wrong. Try again.
