Signing in

The same account as in the browser

You sign in with your Scaricarr account, on the same sign-in page you know from the browser. The app never sees your password; you type it into your Scaricarr's own page.

On iPhone and iPad, the sign-in page opens inside the app. If you are already signed in to Scaricarr in Safari, one tap is often enough.

Why the Apple TV uses your phone

Typing a password with a remote is slow. So the Apple TV shows a short code and a QR code instead. You sign in on your phone or computer, where typing is easy, and allow the TV there. The TV then signs in by itself.

Only allow a code that is shown on your own TV right now. If you didn't start a sign-in, don't allow it.

Staying signed in

You stay signed in until you sign out. After a long time without using the app, you may have to sign in again; the app then tells you "Session expired, please sign in again."

Sign out or sign out on all devices

• Sign out signs you out on this device only. Your other devices stay signed in.
• Sign out on all devices signs you out everywhere you use your account: phones, tablets, Apple TVs and browsers. Use it if a device was lost or someone else used your account.
